Weighed in at 326.2 this morning.
That's a two-pound drop from my last official weigh-in on New Year's Day.

Right on pace.
I'm a bit disappointed in myself though. After writing yesterday's Blog post, I slipped on my way home and picked up a burger. I unofficially weighed in at 325.4 yesterday, but that doesn't count. Only Wednesdays.
There's room for improvement.

Today was a long-day, but we had a successfully run home boys' wrestling event & I will make it home around midnight, content with my day. The boys pulled off the dub too!
Go Viks!
today's devotional & reflection (usccb)
Wednesday after Epiphany
1 John 4:11-18
1 Timothy 3:16
Mark 6:45-52
Reflection:
Rhetorical Question: How often is love met with a hardened hart?
You can almost hear those people on the boat after this dood just fed everyone with five loaves of bread and two fish, then comes walking across the sea, on the water, in a storm.
"Who the F does this dood think he is?"
"His tricks are fire but kinda sus too, bruh. No cap."
Skepticism is natural. It can be healthy and certainly has its merits.
But all too often that overly critical thinking is misplaced and holding you back. This form of skepticism is not healthy and often comes from trauma. Trauma is the remnants of a lack of love. Trauma is the antithesis of love. It holds you back and handicaps your understanding, your openness, your decisions, your actions.
Love sets you free.
And according to John the Apostle: God is love. ...and 'is' is a reflexive verb. So, if the geometry courses of my youth were worth a darn...
PROOF: If God is love, then love is God.
...Mrs. Kever, eat your heart out!
To know love is to know God; it is simple math.
While to know God is intimidating, to know love is not. Love is all around you, if you simply look. It is literally everywhere.
Take some time in the coming days to build a relationship with love: to seek love, to see love, to converse with love, to follow love, to lead love.
And to you married folk: ain't nothin' wrong with makin' some love too while you're at it.
As you build this relationship with love, see where it leads you. See what love has in store for you.
...what God has in store for you.
